Series1 Restored Chassis and Bulkhead

After lots and lots of cutting out and welding in new metals the chassis is at last finished and was painted in 3 coats of Bonda Rust primer and 3 coats of black hammerite , the axles were derusted and fully rebuilt with new seals and bearings

The bulkhead took lots of work to rebuild and it was severly rotten and as the veicle is over 40 years old none of the parts are to correct size due to old repairs and modification

As i am going to use this vehicle for green laning and generally running around i decided it doesnt have to be rebuilt back to original spec as i have another series one that i intend to rebuild to as new specification

With that in mind the bulkhead has been restored to its original sizes etc and doesn't have the look of a very accurate replacement but was much cheaper to repair than replace and it means it wont bother me as much if it get knocked about a bit on its green laning excursions or winter use
